Our house is located in Croatia, Dalmatia, in a little place called Krilo Jesenice, 50m from the beach, 15km south-east
from Split, biggest Croatian town on Adriatic coast. It's a place for a nice and quiet family vacation.
Krilo is a
little place with little shop, bakery, two restaurants, nice beach and little cafe-bar. It is well known for its
naval tradition and for having one of the largest old sailing boats fleet on the Adriatic coast. These old sailing boats are
nowadays being used as touristic attraction still sailing across the Adriatic. Most of this ships are taking tourist excursions,
cruises among Dalmatian islands, fish-picnics during the summer.
First little town near Krilo is Omis that is
on the river Cetina. It has big sandy beach, restaurants at the river coast, little tower above the town that offers great
view over the sea coast. You can also rent boats that can drive you up the river or maybe even try rafting down the river.
Our house is little outside Krilo in a small neighborhood of several houses. It's on the little hill, 50 m above the
coast and the beach. House has a big garden where we grow our own fruits and vegetables. In front of the house is big terrace
(cca 80m2) with table tennis and tables in the shade that offers great see view and can be used for taking outdoor lunch or
just to sit and relax. All but one of our rooms have their own balcony and also sea view. The beach near the house is pebble
beach and is suitable for the children. There is a little tunnel to the beach under the main Split - Omis road so the children
don't have to cross the road. Sandy beach is 10 minutes away by car.
It's a place for nice quiet family vacation.
If you are type for active vacation with visiting museums, disco's, restaurants, historical monuments,... it's all 20 minutes
away by car in Split or Omis. Here, besides beach and swimming, you can take a nice walk and visit our old village on the
mountain, maybe take a picnic there.
Running a lodging establishment takes a great deal of time and dedication.
It can often be a twenty-four-hour a day job and customer satisfaction is extremely important.
